Mpondoland Plug Project× Dixie Jane PCC
Know the hands. Trace the harvest.
A living connection between Mpondoland’s outdoor cultivators and participating Dixie Jane members in Cape Town.
Cannabis is the connection, not the whole story
The Mpondoland Plug Project works to turn agricultural knowledge, cannabis heritage and productive capacity into durable, lawful and equitable opportunity.
Through the pilot, participating Mpondoland cultivators join fellow members of private cannabis collectives. Dixie Jane is the first flagship Partner Collective: a place to test how provenance, reciprocal learning and member participation can create a more human relationship around a collectively cultivated crop.
Three cultivators. Three living archives.
Profiles will be published only with informed consent. Each will combine the farmer’s own voice, a portrait, cultivation experience and the story of the current harvest.

A pilot that connects outdoor cannabis cultivators in Mpondoland, on the Eastern Cape’s Wild Coast, with members of private cannabis collectives. No. It is a private member crop and is not for public sale, and no ordering is offered on this page. It is allocated to participating members of the collective.
Enter the code printed beside the QR label on your jar. As each harvest is documented, the code will open a live batch profile covering the cultivator, growing area, harvest, processing, testing status and member allocation.
The three pilot profiles are being prepared now and will be published only with each farmer’s informed consent. Each will combine the farmer’s own voice, a portrait, their cultivation experience and the story of the current harvest.
