Our flower
Premium indoor cannabis flower, grown by the collective
Every strain on this page is grown indoors under controlled light, temperature and humidity, then dried slowly, hand-trimmed and cured before it reaches the menu. Indoor hydroponic growing gives dense, resinous flower with a consistent terpene profile from one batch to the next, which is why we do not sell outdoor or greenhouse flower.
Each product page lists the lineage, the dominant terpenes and an effect profile, so you can choose by flavour and feel rather than by name alone. Stock rotates as harvests come in; out-of-stock strains stay listed so you can see what returns.
Sativa, indica or hybrid
How to choose a strain
The labels are a useful starting point, but terpenes and your own tolerance matter as much as the category. As a rule of thumb:
Sativa
Bright, clear and social. Members choose sativa strains for daytime, a walk on the promenade or an afternoon with friends. Citrus and pine terpenes such as limonene and pinene are common. Shop sativa flower
Indica
Heavier and more body-led. Indica strains suit a quiet evening in, a film or the end of a long day. Expect earthy, sweet or gassy notes from myrcene and caryophyllene. Shop indica flower
Hybrid
The middle ground, and most of our menu. Hybrids balance a relaxed body with a clear head, and lean one way or the other depending on the strain. Shop hybrid flower
Terpenes
Read the terpene band before you buy
Every flower page shows its dominant terpenes as a percentage band. Myrcene tends to feel mellow and earthy, limonene bright and citrusy, caryophyllene peppery and grounding, and linalool floral and calm. If you enjoyed one strain, look for another with a similar terpene band rather than the same category.
New to cannabis?
Start low and go slow
Our flower is potent. If you are new, or it has been a while, take one or two small draws and wait fifteen minutes before having more. A 1g pre-rolled joint shared between two people is a gentle introduction, and our 5mg THC gummies are an easy alternative if you would rather not smoke. You will also need a grinder and rolling papers if you are rolling your own.

Questions
Cannabis flower FAQs
Is it legal to buy cannabis flower online in South Africa?
Adults 18 and over may possess and use cannabis in private. Dixie Jane operates as a private cannabis collective: you join free at checkout, and your contribution covers the cultivation, preparation and delivery of the collective’s flower.
What is the difference between sativa, indica and hybrid?
Sativa strains tend to feel brighter and more social, indica strains heavier and more relaxing, and hybrids sit in between. Terpenes and your own tolerance also shape the experience, which is why each strain page shows its terpene profile.
How much flower should I buy?
Most members start with the smallest size of a new strain. One gram rolls roughly two to three joints; once you have found a favourite, larger sizes work out better value.
How fresh is the flower?
We harvest in small batches, cure slowly and pack to order, so flower reaches you with its terpenes intact. Store it in a cool, dark, airtight container.
How is flower delivered?
In plain, unbranded packaging. Uber Direct delivers on demand across the Cape Town inner city, Breaze delivers the same day across Greater Cape Town when you order by 10:00, and The Courier Guy delivers nationwide in two to three working days.
Do you sell outdoor or greenhouse flower?
No. Everything we sell is grown indoors under controlled conditions, for consistent potency and flavour.
