How edibles work

Edibles are processed through the digestive system, so they take longer to arrive than smoking or vaping: usually 30 to 90 minutes, sometimes up to two hours on a full stomach. The effect also lasts longer, often four to six hours. The most common mistake is taking a second gummy because the first “is not working”. Start with 5mg, wait at least 90 minutes, and only then decide whether you want more.
