How hotel and Airbnb delivery works
Order online and join the collective at checkout with your name, surname and email; you add your passport number afterwards. Put your accommodation address in the delivery field exactly as the hotel or host lists it, then use the delivery notes for everything a courier needs: room or unit number, building name, intercom code, gate instructions, and whether to call you on arrival. The Uber Direct courier carries a plain parcel with no product names visible and hands it to you personally.
At hotels, the simplest routine is to meet the courier in the lobby; most Waterfront, Sea Point and City Bowl hotels are used to it. Some receptions will accept a parcel for a guest if you arrange it with them first. At Airbnbs and apartment blocks, tell us how the courier gets past the gate or the security desk. If you are staying somewhere with a strict no-smoking policy, gummies and vapes are the considerate choice. Since the 2018 Constitutional Court ruling and the Cannabis for Private Purposes Act of 2024, adults in South Africa may possess and use cannabis in private. Dixie Jane is a non-profit private cannabis collective: members collectively own the crop, and what you pay covers cultivation, production and delivery.

No. Packaging is plain with no product names or branding visible, and the courier is a standard Uber Direct driver. Hand-over is to you personally unless you ask reception to receive it.
Usually not; hotels ask couriers to stop at reception or the lobby. Put your room number in the notes so reception can call you, or ask the courier to phone you when they arrive and meet them downstairs. Guesthouses and Airbnbs are typically to the door.
Add the gate code, the intercom name or the security-desk instructions in the delivery notes. If the courier cannot reach you they will call the number on your order, so keep your phone on.
