If you are staying at the Waterfront, Dixie Jane is the nearest place in Cape Town to legally access cannabis: our café and members’ counter at 40 Chiappini Street is a 20-minute walk down Somerset Road, or a five-minute Uber. Most guests don’t make the trip, though. They order from the hotel, join in a minute at checkout, and the parcel arrives in discreet packaging before they’ve finished getting ready for dinner.
Delivery is by Uber Direct, dispatched from the store the moment your order is confirmed. Order by 21:45 (15:45 on Sundays) for same-evening delivery; anything later goes out at 08:00 the next morning, which suits an early start at Zeitz MOCAA or the Two Oceans Aquarium. Yes. Membership is free and created at checkout, and Uber delivery from our store to the Cruise Terminal side of the Waterfront typically takes 20 to 40 minutes. Remember that you may not take cannabis back on board or across a border; buy only what you will use in private on shore.
