OCB Virgin is the unbleached OCB: a natural light-brown paper with no chlorine, no dyes and no whitening, so the only thing between you and the flower is thin plant fibre and a line of natural Arabic gum. It burns slowly, ashes clean and has even less taste of its own than the white papers.

The paper
Why unbleached
Bleaching whitens paper; it adds a processing step and, for some people, a faint taste. Virgin skips it entirely, which is why the leaf is light brown and why many members who care about flavour roll with nothing else. It is slightly less transparent than Premium and a touch more forgiving to roll.
