If you would rather visit, the café at 40 Chiappini Street is on the M3 route into town and a natural stop before Bree Street or the Waterfront, with happy hour every day from 15:00 to 18:00. Since the 2018 Constitutional Court ruling and the Cannabis for Private Purposes Act of 2024, adults in South Africa may possess and use cannabis in private. Dixie Jane is a non-profit private cannabis collective: members collectively own the crop, and what you pay covers cultivation, production and delivery.
Two rules matter for a visitor: you must be 18 or older, and consumption is legal in private only. Your guesthouse, rental or private garden is fine; Kirstenbosch, the Newlands forest, the wine estates and the street are not. Our store is a café, not a smoking venue. Read the full legal explainer.

Yes. Add the property name, unit or cottage number and any gate code in the delivery notes. The courier hands over to you personally; a guesthouse reception can receive it if you arrange that with them.
Not yet. Our café and members’ counter is at 40 Chiappini Street in De Waterkant, about 20 minutes up the M3. Most Southern Suburbs members order online for delivery and visit the store when they are in town.
No. Visitors join with a passport number. It takes about a minute during checkout, online or at the counter in De Waterkant.
Orders arrive in plain packaging with no product names visible. Hand-over is to you personally; a guesthouse or hotel reception can receive it if you prefer and they allow it.
