The aroma is unmistakable: fresh blueberries over sweet, slightly herbal Haze, with a clean pine edge on the break. The buds are long, sage-green and Haze-shaped, frosted rather than caked, with soft orange pistils.

Blue Dream emerged from the Santa Cruz area of California in the early 2000s as a cross between DJ Short’s Blueberry and a Haze. It spread as a clone-only cut through the medical dispensaries of the era and became the most sold strain in the state for years.
It is a sativa-dominant hybrid, usually described as roughly 60/40. The Haze side gives it the clear, energetic head; the Blueberry side keeps the body relaxed. It is not a pure sativa and will not feel racy.
A clear, motivated lift in the first ten to fifteen minutes, followed by a gentle physical ease that lasts. Members describe it as a “functional” high: good for a walk on the promenade, a creative session or a social afternoon, with no crash afterwards.
